The asset library
A shared, folder-organised library of icons and images every post type can draw on — uploaded raster images are compressed automatically.

Folders can nest inside each other and can be restricted to specific post types, or left open to all of them. Uploading a PNG or JPEG resizes and compresses it automatically for a small, fast graphic; an uploaded SVG is kept as a vector file, which is fine as a logo but cannot currently be composited into a graphic as an icon.
This is where "which picture appears in the graphic" comes from — for a picture-led post type, PostYard's own AI generation always picks from what's already here rather than inventing a new image; upload the picture you want it to be able to use before asking for it.
