For social posting, yes. PostYard drafts, queues, approves and times every post, then hands it to your own Buffer or SocialPilot account to publish at the right moment. That's a separate subscription with them, and it's what decides which social channels you can reach — unlimited post types on our side doesn't mean unlimited channels on theirs. WordPress articles are the exception: those publish straight to your site, no provider needed.

A plan for people who already run Claude on their own machine. Instead of PostYard calling the AI for you, your own Claude Code session writes the posts and files them straight into PostYard's approval queue over our REST API — so you pay us for the yard, not for the tokens. Everything after that is unchanged: the queue, the graphic templates, the posting windows, the approvals, the handoff to Buffer or SocialPilot. It isn't open yet; the plan is listed so you know it's coming.

No. PostYard gives you a downloadable skill pack — unzip it, run one install script, and your Claude Code session already knows how to read your post types, browse your asset library, pull a work order and publish into the queue. The pack carries your own portal's API key, so there's nothing to configure.

Yes. The plan includes none, but top-up bundles work exactly as they do on any other plan, and bought credits never expire. That's the escape hatch for the week you'd rather PostYard did the writing after all.

A plan with no monthly allowance at all. You pay the flat platform fee, then buy AI credits in bundles as you need them at the usual top-up prices — and bought credits never expire, so nothing is wasted if you have a quiet month. It suits anyone whose posting comes in bursts, or who would rather not guess an allowance up front. It isn't open yet; the plan is listed so you know it's coming.

A standing instruction to buy a credit bundle for you when your balance runs low, so the queue never stops for want of credits. You set three things: the balance that triggers it, which bundle to buy, and the most we may spend in a month. We never spend past that limit — we stop and email you instead.

Yes. It's a setting in your billing portal, not a property of a plan, so a Starter, Growth or Scale customer can switch it on as a safety net under their monthly allowance. It only ever starts switched on by default on pay as you go, which has no allowance underneath it — and even there you can turn it off.

We email you straight away and try again later. After a few failed attempts we pause automatic top-up rather than keep presenting your card, and tell you so — update your card and switch it back on and we'll pick up where we left off. Your credits and posts are untouched throughout.

You can buy a one-off top-up bundle. Those credits are only spent once your monthly allowance is used up, and they don't expire at the end of the month.

Your monthly allowance resets at the start of each billing cycle and doesn't roll over. Bought top-up credits work differently — they carry over until you use them.

Yes. Upgrades and downgrades are managed through your Stripe customer portal.
