Creating a post type
A post type is one destination — its name, ID, delivery route, schedule, look and AI brief all live in one editor.
Where: Post types → + New post type
Give it a name — the ID is derived from it automatically and only needs changing if you want a specific value. Everything else — where it posts, how often, what it looks like, and what it should write about — is answered on the same form, split across five tabs: Where it posts, Automation, Brand look, Graphic templates and Team.
Nothing is thrown away by saving with a tab left untouched: every field on every tab is always part of the one form, whether or not you've opened that tab, so partial answers never wipe out what's already there.
A post type with no destination configured, no posting schedule and only the default starter template can still be saved — it just won't be able to produce a real post yet. The listing page and the Delivery tab both show a "Ready" or "Needs setup" badge with the exact list of what's still missing.
